HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN SIMPLE BLOG HEADER

I decided to update the look of my blog today.  I was thinking about hiring someone to do it for me, but I’m too impatient, so I started fooling around on my own, and surprisingly, it was much easier to do than I thought.

#1.  Search and download fonts that you like from da font.
#2.  Play around with it in powerpoint until you like how it looks.  If you aim to make it about as wide as a powerpoint slide, it will be close to the correct width for your blog.     
#3.  Save it as a jpeg.
#4.  Open it in a photo editing program to crop it (vertically) and resize it to 920px wide (or whatever size your current header is… I think most blogs templates are 1000px wide.) 
#5.  Install it on your blog!  That was it!  So easy!
